Our special guest speaker is Snohomish County Councilman and Candidate for the US Congress newly formed 1st Congressional District, John Koster. John will be speaking to the unsustainable level of Federal deficit spending and what he believes it will take to get the economy growing again. Regulatory reform, including the Repeal of Obamacare; Tax Reform, including a total repeal of the Estate Tax; incentives to encourage movement in energy efficiency and closing the loopholes used by employers in the construction industry to misclassify employees as independent contractors.

Bio: John Koster has served three terms in the Washington State House of Representatives. Congressional candidate (2000). Served on the following committees in the Legislature: Transportation; Criminal Justice & Corrections: Agriculture & Ecology, Capital Budget. He was elected to Snohomish County Council in 2001. Prior to being elected to the County Council he was a business consultant and third generation dairyman, owned and operated his own business for 23 years.
