Per the the Inside Wireman Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Cascade Chapter, NECA and Local Union #191 IBEW effective August 31, 2008 - May 31, 2012 Monday, September 6, 2010 is recognized as a holiday.
ARTICLE 3.0
Hours - Wage Payment - Apprentices - Working Conditions
3.02
Construction work performed, outside the regular scheduled working hours Monday through Friday and Saturday shall be paid at the overtime rate of pay as follows: The first two (2) hours of overtime Monday through Friday and the first eight (8) regularly scheduled hours on Saturday shall be paid at one and one half (1½) the regular rate. Work performed outside of these hours shall be paid at double the regular straight time rate. Work performed on Sundays, and the following Holidays: New Years Day; Martin Luther King Day; Memorial Day; Fourth of July; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; day after Thanksgiving Day; day before Christmas; Christmas Day; (When either the day before Christmas and/or Christmas Day falls on the weekend, the day before Christmas shall be observed on Friday and Christmas Day shall be observed on Monday) or days celebrated as such, shall be paid for at double the regular straight time rate of pay. When a holiday falls on Saturday, the previous Friday shall be observed and when a holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed. Veteran’s Day will be recognized as a day off without pay if works for Employers’ work schedule. If worked it will be paid at the straight time rate of pay.
